Good Vibes If You've Got Any..

Well, this is an update for those of you that havent been around on my Facebook or havent got my update on BabyGaga.  


A week or so ago, Jeremy had an arachnoid cyst burst.    These cysts are growing at the base of his brain and on his brain stem and he has multiple.     They're a congenital disorder meaning he was born with them and usually they go unnoticed and aren't the least bit painful.   His were irritated and started growing while he was enlisted from the trauma he suffered from IED's and other loud/painful explosions.   

When it popped last week, he felt it and was quite worried so he rushed to the VA immediately.. leaving work to seek medical care.   They weren't very concerned but managed to do a non invasive procedure to drain the excess fluid from around his brain to relieve the pressure.      They also found some other worrysome medical issues that have to be attended too.


Yesterday at work, he felt two more pops and even after being in an extreme amount of pain, he continued to work through the day promising to go to the VA after work was over.    

By the time he got to the VA,  his brain was under an extreme amount of pressure and had been swollen for quite some time from the excess cerebral fluid in his skull and because of the pressure he had a seizure.  
Jeremy has lost his short term memory..   they dont know if it'll come back or not but I'm thankful he's alive and doing well and atleast it was only his short term memory from the last month or so.. not the last few years.

They did the same non invasive procedure to drain the fluid by inserting a tube up his nose and into his head and was given pain meds and a once over and was released very late lastnight.     I feel so terrible that he's going through all of this...   that he doesn't even remember what we did together as a family two weekends ago.    He doesn't remember the family reunion last weekend where he got to see and spend time with family he hasn't seen in years.

He still has more cysts in his brain that will grow and eventually rupture just like the last three did and because of their location, Doctors are unable to to place a shunt in his head to automatically drain any fluid from them popping because of their location on his brain stem and theres also another procedure where they can open up his skull and manually go in and pop and drain each cyst before they have the time to really grow and rupture.     But as you can assume, this is a VERY dangerous operation and because of his heart issues this is not a possibility.

The other cysts will pop and will cause him pain and discomfort but hopefully they wont cause and real damage or anything worse than the actual pain, so if you've got any good vibes to send our way...   please do.   

More of Me...

Lately I've been wanting to get back on track and eat healthier again..   just to really take better care of myself overall..

This is my breakfast on an average breakfast not..   380cals and super filling

Ive just been feeling so down lately..  feeling super depressed and starting to hate my life.   It seems like every day just runs together..  barley having any adult interaction.   every day its cleaning, cleaning, more cleaning and taking care of the girls.    Im lucky if I have a few minutes to myself for the day..   if I can squeeze in a shower.   *sigh*   the life of being a mother.


So I'm taking steps to take care of myself so I can be around longer to take care of my girls.    Theyre what matters.   <3

Fair 2011

I cant believe it's been so freakin long since I updated and Im sure theres going to be a thousand posts to update everything so its not all just jumbled into one.


So we went to the fair in April, just like planned and boy we were all beat by the time we left.   The girls had a blast and Mallory didnt want to leave.   Shes actually been begging me already to go back and it's so hard to explain to a 3yr old that the fair only comes to town once a year.  lol    <3


We spent literally all day there and suprisingly Mallory didnt even pass out in the car on the way home..   wtf.  lmao

We got to ride Kitty the elephant..

and yes my hair was orange..  I had just bleached it from black the day before

Mallory of course had to ride the ponies a thousand times even though we have horses at home..   and oddly enough it was the same pony she rode 2 yrs ago, and she got put on the same one every time she rode that day too.  lol

after visiting all the animals and walking through all the buildings and trying to take cover in the middle of the day from the heat we finally let Mallory go on some rides.
She gets motion sickness though so we were worried about her going on rides..

But she loved the flying elephants..


and watching her ride the flying elephants..


and the dragon coaster..   she loved this too and daddy had to ride with her the first few times.


and this..   this is a Jungle obstacle course..   this was her favorite out of everything.


she probably went through this house a gazillion times.
